Insight and recommendations from several advisory boards and commissions help to bring a community-wide perspective to New Hope policy discussions.
Each of New Hope’s four standing advisory groups focus on a different range of issues. Local residents and business people are appointed by the City Council and meet regularly to discuss issues of local importance and make recommendations to the Council. Advisory commission members serve the community as volunteers.

The
city of New Hope is seeking applications for persons interested in serving as a
New Hope alternative representative on the Bassett Creek Watershed Commission
for a three-year term. Monthly meetings are held during business day hours.

planning or engineering background or experience with issues related to surface
water drainage.
