2026 Infrastructure Improvements

Project Information:
At the March 23, 2026 City Council meeting, a contract was awarded to Northwest Asphalt for the 2026 street infrastructure improvements. This project will begin in June 2026. Residents on streets impacted by project improvements will receive further details in the mail.

The project maps shown below identify streets scheduled for either a reclaim and overlay, or mill and overlay pavement improvements.

Reclaim and Overlay Pavement Improvements:
A reclaim and overlay is a type of pavement improvement that involves grinding down the entire pavement section of the roadway down to the underlying gravel base. Roadways will remain gravel while the contractor performs subgrade repairs on the road base. Roadways will then be re-paved with a full new section of pavement.

Mill and Overlay Pavement Improvements:
A mill and overlay is a type of pavement improvement that involves removing only the top two to three inches of pavement. Roadways will still have a paved driving surface while the contactor performs subgrade repairs on the underlying asphalt. Following subgrade repairs to the underlying asphalt, the road will be re-paved.
